![]() ![]() This trope is the polar opposite of the Grand Finale. If a work ends with more finality, but an on-screen caption promotes the next installment, see "Will Return" Caption. In the case of video games this kind of "ending" can actually be quite literal, since there are quite a few games out there that have multiple paths the onscreen protagonists can take, and even after they've "won" on one path, they could still "lose" on any or all of the other paths.Ĭompare Cliffhanger, Sequel Hook, Bolivian Army Ending, End-of-Series Awareness, and So What Do We Do Now?. ![]() There have been several adventure stories that eliminate any sense of subtlety by featuring this phrase at the end but Tropes Are Tools. (Of course, as the Expanded Universe reveals all too often, sometimes they're not.) In this case, there's the implication that the worst is over, and despite the danger, things will be all right for them from now on. The series acts as a window into the lives of the characters, and though it may be time for the audience (or the writer) to move on, their adventures or struggles will continue. ![]() Sort of like Here We Go Again!, but the tone is usually more optimistic than the good-natured resignation of the former. We can relax, knowing that they're still out there somewhere, still fighting the good fight, since that's how we saw them last. These characters, and all of their friends and foes that were encountered as we watched, continue on living their lives even if we aren't watching the story unfold. The purpose behind this idea is to explain that the world that these characters inhabit is much, much larger than the stories that have been written about them. The mood can range anywhere from melancholy to "Oh boy, a chance for more fun!" Out-of-universe, of course, it serves as a more satisfying take on That's All, Folks!. Or it may be meant to imply that the adventuring life is their Happily Ever After, especially if they have recently contemplated quitting and decided against it, or recently regained their ability to continue. Sometimes, there is no Happily Ever After. Some stories just end before they can reach the Happily Ever After point. Other times it's deliberate, included as a way for the writers to quickly create an ideal continuation point in the event that the opportunity for a sequel arrives. This kind of ending can come when a series is canceled before the author can plan out a full ending. Uh-oh, there's another call for help! Is there a more secure alternative to TeamViewer? With all this to offer, it's clear that Splashtop is superior to TeamViewer in cost, functionality, and usage, and independent reviews by third parties and peer-to-peer sites back this claim by showing that Splashtop provides better user adoption, system administration, installation, and customer service across the board. With Splashtop, you'll find integrations including ticketing and ITSM automatically included, as compared to TeamViewer where you'll pay another add-on fee. Splashtop also provides attended support for iOS and Android for free, as compared to TeamViewer's $155.40 per year. TeamViewer is also limited the number of unattended managed endpoints you can have, which is unlimited with Splashtop SOS Unlimited. On Splashtop, 2 users can remotely access the same computer at the same time, and access can be assigned by the user when you have multi-user teams, features you won't find on TeamViewer. When you use Splashtop Business Access, you can have up to 10 concurrent sessions per user or channel, as compared to 3 for TeamViewer. Though TeamViewer has a lot of features, there are a lot of areas where it's limited, and it's also expensive. 7/28/2023 0 Comments Worms reloaded custom mapsI'd like Team17 to acknowledge in the next game what makes Armageddon solid even to this day, and try their best to offer it again. But functionally, the multiplayer is done right, the customization is also done right, and no owner of the game is left behind. Armageddon is admittedly dated, and it's clear with the lack of features like zooming, or the limits imposed on custom maps, or even the extra customization hats offer. But it's sad when a title from 1999 is able to outperform a 2016 title. They can turn the disappointing W.M.D release into something worth it. Even GOG's passionate updates to revive the classic Star Wars Battlefront II pales in comparison to the fact that Armageddon's original CD owners are still able to join the multiplayer. All three can hop on and cause armageddon thanks to the WormNET servers which are still up even after two decades. It doesn't care whether you are Steam, GOG or even an original disc owner. This is something that again, Armageddon excels in. It simply has some restrictions in dimensions and formats, but you're not locked out of the customization because you prefer DRM-free.Īnother gripe is that W.M.D from GOG requires Galaxy and only multiplayer between Galaxy users is supported. ![]() While W.M.D's functionality, especially when it comes to maps and hats, is restricted to Steam Workshop (which I have yet to see a DRM-free friendly implementation of), Armageddon doesn't even care how you design its maps, graveyards or flags, the tools used to making them, etc. What I will say here regarding W.M.D is not something I can confirm myself due to reluctance of obtaining it, but it does point out why I am reluctant. And it's due to the fact that the GOG version of W.M.D was weakened and dampened shortly after its release thanks to what I think is its bitter rival. And yet, it's the least desirable Worms experience here. Anyway, I was happy to see that the Worms games do have a presence on GOG, and that we have received W.M.D not two years after launch, not one, not a month, but on its release day on all platforms. The game was and remains fantastic, if not for the fact that GameSpy's been dead and you have to look for alternative solutions to play it online. ![]() I've been a fan of the Worms series ever since I was a child beginning with my parents getting me Worms Forts Under Siege. 7/28/2023 0 Comments Smoked pork chops on pellet grill![]() You can find me on Instagram most of the time so use tag the same hashtag #sandraseasycooking. Step 2: Rub outside of pork chop with olive oil. If you decide to make these delicious Grilled Pork Chops do not forget to tag me on social media. Your cart is empty Step 1: Preheat recteq to 500F with a Sear Kit on the right side of the grill. What is your favorite food from the grill? I have so many, but definitely, burgers and ribs are at the top two, but I also love, love grilled fish. I just love grilled food and could eat it every single day. It doesn’t take much effort or culinary training to make grilled pork chops, but I’m confident you’ll like it anyway. After blogging for more than 10 years, we occasionally overlook the simplest recipes. I find it hard to believe I’ve never shared this recipe before. I usually eat this with cauliflower rice since I am most of the time eating low-carb. The best results can be obtained by using a flavorful internal probe or thermometer. Sometimes I make extra so we could have it during the week. Preheat the grill or smoker to 300 degrees Fahrenheit place the pork chops on either, cooking over indirect heat for approximately 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. I think that’s my family preference as well. Also, I like bits of burned pieces around the bone and meat in the middle tender. However, you can use your air fryer as well 400F for 25-30 minutes depending on your preferences. In a cast iron frying pan, large enough to hold the pork chops, saut the chopped. Now, you will need any kind of grill to make them, of course. Set the grill to 225 degrees F, close the lid and smoke the chops for 2 hours. Not only that, you are going to love these tasty pork chops, but I can promise you will make them all the time. Let your pork chops rest for a few minutes and either cut them up or serve them whole. When done right, Grilled Pork Chops are super flavorful! This reverse sear will bring your bone-in pork chops to the final 145 degrees while giving it that perfect final touch that we all enjoy from BBQ food. As with all my smoked steaks, I recommend using a very hot grill or cast iron pan to do a reverse sear. The CDC recommends cooking your pork to a minimum of 145 degrees. These three reached 135 in about 40 minutes although you will want to prepare to smoke them to temperature and the thicker your pork chops, the longer you can anticipate it to take. ![]() These pork chops were 3/4 inch and did not take very long to get to our internal temperature goal of 135 degrees. Add about 1 TBSP (or to your preferred taste) of seasoning to each pork chop (both sides).Remove your pork chops, trim them up (if required) and pat dry.Turn your smoker on and bring it to 225 degrees.1 TBSP of your favorite seasoning – My new favorite store-bought seasoning for pork is called “ PIG’s Ass Rub” which is a Memphis-style BBQ seasoning. ![]()

We used pushpins to hang them up, and they kept falling down I must have picked those pieces up a hundred times. Finally, he’d hang them up so that they were sticking out from the wall. Next he would do drawings of heads and people on parts of the pyramids, and he did a lot of marbleizing, oil on water.
